Job Purpose

The Project Manager will manage incoming request work and larger projects that are assigned to our teams. With the team they will estimate the incoming work, plan it into releases and then coordinate and manage the work-flow to ensure delivery according to the release plans. In addition, they will manage the expected delivery of the work with stakeholders and assist with project roadmap planning.

 

About the team

Develop and support end-to-end e-commerce products for international customers. Develop business-to-business systems and back-end systems for customer support, finance, payment process management, risk and fraud management, and content management systems.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Schedule and manage the required meetings with the teams to estimate the required effort for projects, support and feature requests
  • Project and request work planning and scheduling
  • Provide updated information and reports on project progress to stakeholders
  • Provide updated information and reports on the progress of request work to the helpdesk
  • Assist with the management of the workflow within the teams
  • Assist with project roadmap planning
  • Assist with the management of risks and impediments
  • Ensure that the workflow tool is constantly up to date with the progress of the work in the system
  • Analyse and update our processes with the aim to drive efficiency in teams and the overall business Run release retrospective sessions and enhance processes
  • Provide new team members with training on agile and Scrum practices, as well as workflow tools

 

Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management or scrum master in a software development environment (non-negotiable)
  • Certification or a post graduate diploma/degree in project management (non-negotiable)
  • Knowledge and experience in agile practices will give you the edge Experience with project management and workflow management software tools a definite advantage
  • A proven track record in software development processes and the ability to demonstrate process improvement
