We are looking for a strong Business Manager to head our client’s Cape Town branch. Good communication, managerial and leadership skills are a must, with great technical ability advantageous. There will be exposure to a wide range of industries, so the ability to quickly understand new business environments is essential.

Role includes;


Provide input into development of business unit strategy as a whole

Successfully execute on agreed business development plan

Lead business unit performance and profitability


Implement the budget plan for the region with adherence to all KPIs

Provide regular updates to General Manager on financial performance

Ensure all invoicing for region is accurate and processed

Manage the profitability of the business in line with the budget

Ensure debtors days for unit in line with business plan


Develop strategy to grow opportunities within client base

Identify cross-selling opportunities within client base

Maintain and grow relationships with key clients

Track and report back on sales activity to ensure effective execution in line with sales strategy

Develop and build pipeline for business in line with company targets


The development and career plans for reportee’s

Provide leadership and guidance to engagement managers in the execution of their duties

Grow team in order to achieve strategic goals

Implement staff value proposition for team and build engaged relationships with staff

Measuring of individual KPIs against scorecard for team members

Ensuring the necessary skills and certifications of your team

Accountable for employee satisfaction survey for your team members


Relevant Degree

3 – 5 Years experience in management role

Experience within consulting service environment

Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools

Strong problem solving skills and good communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to explain technical concepts to business people in a language they understand, and business requirements to technical people

Ability to successfully manage and strong relationships with a team and clients

Effective planning and organizational skills

Passionate and ambitious to deliver on the company’s strategic plan



Exposure to multiple clients across a various of industry verticals (Retail; Manufacturing; Logistics; Telco’s; Financial Services; Mining; Public Enterprise)
